Karibu Watoto (Welcome the Children) in Swahili, is a movement of hearts, joined as one, responding to what we have seen and heard, desiring to be obedient to Christ’s call to sow abundantly into the lives of those in need. We started working in the middle of the Mathare Slum in Nairobi, Kenya in 2011 as a result of a short term mission trip. Mathare is a collection of slums in Nairobi, Kenya with a population of approximately 500,000 people. There we came along side AIC Zion. The Africa Inland Church (AIC), was operating a small school under the direction and care of people willing to give it all to the service of the Lord and the little ones in the community. 

Partnering with AIC Zion has brought great happiness to the community. Attendance and health is improving in a regular basis thanks to your contributions. Last year 2015 attendance increased from approximately 213 students to more than 520 students. Now in 2017 there are more than 600 students.

Again, thanks to your donation the children are receiving nourishment for their bodies, classess to expand their knowledge and much needed help to care for their spirits.
